Class description:

What if there were a source of constant inspiration, endless plot and character possibilities, a way to refine your individual creative voice, and target readers hungry for the sorts of stories you most love to write? What if that inspiration were as close as your bookshelf, TV screen or radio dial? Even the Internet is fair game for mining inspiration. In this workshop, we’ll learn how to harness the media  we already love to shape and enrich the books of our hearts. From identifying what we love and why we love it, to combining unlikely inspirations into new creations, it’s time to have some fun with the creative process, get messy, and reconnect with the joy of storytelling.

Bio:

Anna Carrasco Bowling stole her first historical romance novel from her mother’s nightstand, at the far too tender age of eleven.  Within the first few pages, she knew she had found what she wanted to read and write for the rest of her life. So far, so good. Anna is currently doing the happily ever after thing with her Real Life Romance Hero, their Housemate, and feline companion, Skye, in New York’s Capitol Region. She is a member of Capitol Region Romance Writers and New England Romance Writers.  She is usually wearing at least one thing with a skull on it, and can be easily bribed with tea, notebooks, or gummi bears.
