I’ve mentioned before that my husband and I travel so you won’t be surprised we visited Plymouth Village in Massachusetts. Since I use a Mill in my upcoming Rhodes End novel, I took advantage of the real mill there.
It’s an operational mill that grinds corn and other grains and then sells

the results to the public. I learned a lot about how the mill operates and had a chance to see the workings on the lower floor. The current millstone was imported from Europe when the original mill burned.
Plymouth village is a fascinating place to visit if you love history. There are hundreds of things to explore. The day was perfect for walking the many streets and displays. I have to return. I didn’t have enough time.
